Server Housatonic House Restaurant Bar 337 Roosevelt Drive, Seymour, CT 06483 We are seeking friendly, attentive, and customer-focused Servers to join our front-of-house team. As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing guests with an outstanding dining experience by ensuring prompt service, detailed knowledge of the menu, and professional demeanor. The key responsibilities will be the following Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems Memorize menu items and daily specials to answer guest questions Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately Check in with guests throughout the meal to ensure satisfaction Follow all food safety and hygiene standards Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary Process payments, issue receipts, and handle cash and credit transactions Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas Uphold restaurant policies and comply with health & safety regulations
