Job Description
Server Bar Rosso 28 Spring Street, Stamford, CT 06901 Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Servers to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant and nightclub environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. Your ability to multitask and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting will be key to your success in this role. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff using the Toast POS system. Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Monitor guest needs, refill drinks, and respond to any inquiries or concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations by bussing tables as needed. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests. Assist with food preparation when necessary, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards before serving. Taking accurate orders and ensuring timely service Promoting daily food and beverage specials with confidence and enthusiasm Upselling menu items when appropriate to enhance guest satisfaction Skills Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a restaurant or nightclub setting. Familiarity with cash register operations and handling transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with food preparation techniques is a plus. A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
