As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with food preparation when necessary. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while ensuring proper presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns or requests promptly. Process payments using cash registers and handle transactions with accuracy. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours. Skills Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred. Proficient in cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and safety practices in the food industry. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and orders simultaneously. Knowledge of guest services principles to enhance the overall dining experience.
