We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and enjoyably. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for guest services, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Assist servers by providing them with necessary items such as utensils, condiments, and additional supplies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure all orders are prepared correctly and promptly. Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy, enhancing their dining experience. Support the team during busy periods by helping with various tasks as needed, including restocking supplies or cleaning tables. Skills Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Strong guest relations skills to ensure a positive dining experience for all patrons. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interaction with guests and team members. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of phone etiquette for handling reservations or guest inquiries when necessary.
