Server/Cashier El buzo restaurant 5675 North Atlantic Avenue, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a vibrant restaurant environment. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, managing transactions, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, possess strong time management skills, and have a passion for the food industry. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus, answering any questions they may have about the menu items. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all special requests are noted. Process payments using the cash register or point-of-sale system, handling cash and credit transactions with precision. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and condiment stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery to customers. Assist in restocking supplies as needed and manage inventory levels in the café. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally. Uphold health and safety standards within the café environment. Qualifications Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or grocery store setting is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods. A background in culinary arts or knowledge of food industry practices is a plus.
