We are looking for a competent Restaurant Server to sale and deliver our food to our guests maintaining and enhancing the quality of our customer service. You will work in close collaboration with colleagues and follow established health and safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare tables with special attention to sanitation and order. Attend to customers upon entrance, and until they left. Present menus and help customers select food/beverages. Take/serve orders and answer questions or make recommendations for other products. Collaborate with other servers and kitchen staff. Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude and listen to the manager’s Side work, as need, all the time. Led training sessions for new servers. Reported all dangerous and improper situations promptly to management. Oversee dining hall cleanliness and safety. Assists with greeting and seating guests as needed. Superior proficiency in food preparation and presentation standards Exceptional stamina for standing and walking for extended time periods High ability to function well in a stressful environment Skills in professional interaction with guests and staff Motivated servers to ensure optimal service quality. Answer guest queries regarding menu selections. Coordinate with kitchen staff regarding wait times and menu item availability. Clear and clean tables between lunch and dinner shifts. Maintain all applicable food sanitation and safety standards.
- Work at the times that the restaurant is busiest and cover the shift of any server that does not come to work.
Requirements Proven customer serving/ waitering experience. Customer-oriented approach and patience. Problem solving and decision making skills. Hands on experience in cashier duties. Excellent people skills. Responsible and polite . Attention to cleanliness and safety. High school diploma; food safety training will be considered a plus. Be on time ready to work. ( 10 minutes before you are schedule to work with immaculate, uniform).
