The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for guest services. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Ensure that all orders are complete and presented correctly before serving to guests. Assist servers with food preparation and presentation as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bussing tables and clearing dishes. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines at all times. Assist with setting up for banquets or special events as required. Utilize POS systems (such as Aloha POS) for order tracking when necessary. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is essential. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Strong guest service skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Experience in food preparation or banquet services is advantageous but not mandatory. A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are key attributes for success in this role.
