The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for food service, making it ideal for individuals looking to grow within the culinary and hospitality fields. Being a full time seafood restaurant you will have to learn the difference in the options of fish we sell as well as know how to handle it. Responsibilities Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Assist in setting up banquet tables and dining areas according to event specifications. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate order timing and special requests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service area, including proper food handling practices. Help with the preparation of food items as needed, supporting cooks during busy periods. Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing excellent customer service at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Skills Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Knowledge of food handling safety practices and culinary techniques. Experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional service.
