Food Runner Maple and Cream 375 North University Drive, Plantation, FL 33324 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and work hand in hand with the kitchen and servers to elevate the dining experience for the guests. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. The position is a fast paced adrenaline rush restaurant position requiring non stop action during the busy times. Duties Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist servers by ensuring that all food items are presented beautifully and in accordance with restaurant standards. Assist the kitchen Expo in organizing the line and coordinating the tickets. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any special requests or dietary restrictions. Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest quality of service. Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, enhancing their overall dining experience. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary terminology is an advantage. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to help and communicate effectively with both guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
