Food Runner The Federal 800 NE 8th Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in the hospitality industry and have a passion for culinary excellence. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Ensure that all orders are complete and presented beautifully before serving to guests. Assist servers in managing guest requests and ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests. Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times. Support the overall operations of the restaurant by helping where needed, including assisting with POS systems as required. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
