Job Description:
Sirocco Mediterranean Restaurant is seeking Servers to join our team in Pembroke Pines, FL (Pembroke Shops). We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Servers. As a Server, you will play a key role in providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests by delivering excellent service and ensuring their satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have a friendly and outgoing personality, strong communication skills, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly Make recommendations and provide information about menu items Serve food and drinks to guests according to established standards Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including setting and clearing tables Collaborate with the kitchen and other staff members to ensure efficient service Accomplishes opening and closing duties by following procedures for opening and closing shift; checks front-of-house equipment; checks back-of-house equipment; checks bar area; reports any safety or health concerns; reports any shortages or quality concerns.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 year experience in this role Full Time availability Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and serving Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques TIPS or equivalent certification for responsible alcohol service is a plus Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
