We are looking for a friendly face to join our team as a Server Assistant to help support our Food and Beverage Team! Take a tour of Quail West by clicking HERE The Server Assistant assures a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in personnel. Recognizing and calling members by name. Assisting in all areas within the service area and dining room as needed. Responsible for assuring that all members and guests are served in a prompt, efficient and pleasant manner. Deliver and serve meals to the correct table and seat number. Provide a positive dining experience throughout the guest’s duration on property. Restock dressings and condiments.

Pay rate:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide quality products, excellent service and a friendly atmosphere for all members. Clean and reset tables. Check linen for cleanliness. Fill and replenish with water, bread and butter. Server or busser to remove dishes when member is finished with each course. Deliver dirty table settings to dishwashing area. Rack all dirty glasses in designated dishwashing area. Oversee cleanliness of restaurant. Take soiled linens to dock. Empty all garbage. Assist servers in carrying food trays. Maintain proper sanitation, safety procedures and cleanliness in work areas. Follow all policies and procedures outlined by the Manager and the employee handbook. Act as an extension of the security department in protecting the assets of the club and all members by observing and reporting any questionable activity. Assume all responsibilities as delegated by the Manager and do any or all other duties that may be required to fulfill members’ needs and requests. Make sure stations are clear of all dirty dishes, areas are mopped, and all garbage bags clean before end of shift. Assist in setting up for Banquet Events. All meetings are mandatory.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience No experience required but must have a great attitude; be a team player and customer service oriented.

Qualifications:

Minimum one year of experience in a private club and/or high-volume restaurant. Effective people skills. Attention to detail. Strong decision-making and multi-tasking skills Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time. Moderate noise level in the work environment.
