Compensation:
$10.00 per hour plus 20% automatic service charge with potential to earn additional gratuity The Club at the Strand has openings for full-time and part-time, experienced servers. We offer a variety of member events, 3 dining outlets, including our newly renovated Tavern 59, and a wedding venue that is booked into 2025. We are looking for servers who exceed standard expectations to ensure members and guests have a pleasurable dining experience. Servers must have a friendly, positive attitude, be capable of studying and memorizing multiple menus and work as part of The Strand team. Responsibilities Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order Attend daily pre-shift meetings to ensure you know the daily specials before entering the dining room. Immediately greet and attend to customers upon entrance Recommend daily specials to every table and be prepared to answer menu related questions. Capitalize on every opportunity to upsell.
