The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a strong focus on hospitality, teamwork, and attention to detail. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete before delivery. Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth service during busy periods. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Assist in food preparation as needed, including basic kitchen tasks. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs and requests promptly. Participate in banquet setups and breakdowns as required for special events. Skills Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling techniques. Experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus for efficient order processing. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to enhance guest interactions.
