Food runner-Lillians Pizza Paul’s Daiquiri Bar Perdido Key, FL 32507 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional dining experiences by efficiently transporting food and beverages from the kitchen to our guests. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide outstanding customer service will enhance the overall guest experience in our establishment. Duties Deliver food and beverages promptly from the kitchen to guests at their tables. Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete before delivery. Communicate with kitchen staff regarding order status, special requests, and any guest needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including clearing tables as needed. Support banquet services during events by efficiently serving food and beverages. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth flow of service during busy periods. Provide assistance in food preparation when necessary, adhering to safety and hygiene standards. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Knowledge of culinary practices and food preparation techniques is advantageous. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
