The Expeditor (Expo) ensures that all kitchen orders are prepared in a timely manner and according to menu and customer specifications. The Expo coordinates the pace and flow between the kitchen and the Servers.

You have:
Skills to coordinate and manage the pace and flow between the Servers and the kitchen Attention to detail to monitor ticket times and communicate with cook line to assure prompt delivery of orders A commitment to ensure that all orders are prepared according to the Guests specifications and follow the Metro Diner recipes and menu The ability to immediately notify management of any item that needs to be recooked and run to a table The capability to call for food runners to ensure food gets to the table in a timely manner You might also have: Experience as a Expeditor in a fast-paced work environment Working experience with reading a KDS screen and an understanding of ticket items Organizational skills to maintain contact with the kitchen, Managers, and Servers to ensure that dining details are handled properly and Guests concerns are addressed The ability to diffuse stressful situations through a calm, thoughtful demeanor The desire to work with servers, food runners, and bussers to ensure efficient operations while focusing on Guests needs
