Expo/Food Runner Tampa Steak and Sushi 16411 North Florida Avenue, Lutz, FL 33549 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Expo/Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, food safety, and teamwork. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Ensure that all orders are accurate and presented beautifully before serving. Assist in the setup and breakdown of banquet events as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including proper food handling practices. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow. Support kitchen staff with food preparation tasks when necessary. Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure guest safety. Requirements Previous experience in food service or a culinary environment is a MUST. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. A passion for providing outstanding customer service and enhancing guest experiences. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
