Server/Waiter Guac n’ Cheese 4101 South Macdill Avenue, Tampa, FL 33611 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest relations skills and a passion for providing exceptional service. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while efficiently managing food and beverage orders. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated effectively to the kitchen staff. Upsell menu items and daily specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Provide attentive guest services throughout the dining experience, promptly addressing any needs or concerns. Sanitate tables and dining areas between guests to maintain cleanliness and adherence to health standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain high-quality standards of food presentation. Assist in maintaining inventory levels of supplies and report any shortages to management. Experience Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings, is preferred but not required. Strong guest relations skills with an emphasis on providing exceptional customer service. Ability to effectively upsell menu items and enhance the overall dining experience for guests. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is an advantage. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong communication skills is essential for success in this role.
