Dessert Builder / Server Mean Mugs Milkshake Bar is looking for energetic and friendly Team Members, Shift Leads, and Assistant Managers to join our location in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina . Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, hard-working, reliable, and available days, nights and weekends. As one of our Team Members you will: Dip, Mix, and Decorate our milkshakes and sundaes. Take orders, collect payments and serve customers. Work closely with other Team Members to ensure customers have a fantastic, fun and tasty experience.

Job Duties:

Greet guests with a smile and pleasant tone of voice. Take guests orders, create and build orders, and deliver to the guest. Demonstrate passion for serving your community, a willingness to clean often and comprehensively, physical stamina to stand on your feet for long shifts as well as lift heavy tubs of ice cream, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment Familiarize themselves with our ice cream flavors and our specialty shake and sundae combinations, and to be able to enthusiastically make suggestions to and answer questions from our customers Be available to work weekdays, weekends and nights Provide consistent, world-class service to every single customer Be reliable, honest, on time, and ready to hustle for every shift Properly handle payments Keep the work space clean and sanitized

• Reports to:

FOH Manager/ General Manager/ Team Lead Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet and interact with customers.
• Check and maintain quality and speed of service.
• Stay updated on current menu items and pricing.
• Communicate with team members throughout the shift.
• Check IDs before serving alcoholic drinks.
• Maintain a clean workspace and complete all required sidework.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to perform each essential duty to a satisfactory level.
• Education and/or

Experience:

o 2 years secondary education and must be of legal age per local law.

Computer Skills:

o Ability to operate POS register system. o Ability to understand Microsoft Windows.

Language Skills:

o Ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions, short correspondence, and memos. o Ability to write simple correspondence. o Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and fellow team members.

Mathematical Skills:

o Ability to add, subtract, multiple, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. o Ability to compute rate and percent.

Reasoning Ability:

o Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or-two step instructions. o Ability to efficiently work with people.

Other Skills and Abilities:

o Must have excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills. o Must have a positive, courteous, energetic, and enthusiastic personality. These traits should be used in all aspects of customer and coworker interactions.

Physical Demands:

o While performing the duties of this job a bartender is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. o Reach with hands and arms to move items up to 50 pounds. o Talk and hear. o Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision and depth perception. o
