As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality service, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring that all dining needs are met promptly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for food and hospitality, and the ability to work well under pressure. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus, taking care to explain any specials or menu items. Take orders accurately using POS systems and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens. Manage guest relations by addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order fulfillment. Adhere to food handling safety standards to ensure guest safety. Experience Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as OpenTable is advantageous. Strong math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy service periods. A commitment to providing outstanding guest relations through attentive service and communication. Knowledge of food handling practices is essential for maintaining health standards.
