Job Description
Waiter/Waitress Hasu Sushi & Grill 3551 South Blair Stone Road, Tallahassee, FL 32301
Server Duties:
- Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure guest satisfaction
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Enter orders into the POS system and process payments
- Handle cash transactions and maintain a balanced cash register
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to sanitize workstations and utensils
- You would also be required to do side works including making the salad and soups and setting up the tables in the morning with soy sauce and utensils.
- Near shift is over you are required to refill any station if low.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Familiarity with using a cash register or POS system is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order taking and delivery
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift trays or plates as needed
- Must have at least 1 year of restaurant experience( better if you worked at a Japanese restaurant beforehand)
