Breakfast Server Gulf Drive Cafe and Kokonut Hut Bradenton Beach, FL 34217 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be an early riser for a 6:30 a.m. shift start. They will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services and a strong understanding of food handling and preparation. As a Breakfast Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the OpenTable system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Provide recommendations on menu items, including daily specials, to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety and handling guidelines. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or needs promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments in a timely manner. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all kitchen areas remain clean and organized. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to assist guests effectively. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not mandatory. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services and teamwork. Familiarity with cash handling procedures is beneficial. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices is an asset. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
