The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and enjoyably. This position requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service, as you will be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area. Responsibilities Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate order timing and special requests. Assist in setting up tables for service, including arranging utensils, napkins, and condiments. Help maintain cleanliness in the dining area by clearing tables promptly and efficiently. Provide exceptional guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns regarding food items. Support the culinary team by assisting with basic food preparation tasks when needed. Operate the POS system for order tracking and communicate any issues to management. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. A passion for customer service with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic knowledge of culinary terms and food presentation is advantageous. Willingness to help out wherever needed, demonstrating teamwork and flexibility.
