Server PASTAIO Palm City 3291 SW Martin Downs Boulevard, Palm City, FL 34990 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our fine dining establishment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with various tasks to support the culinary team. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including OpenTable when necessary. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards. Assist in food preparation as needed, demonstrating knowledge of menu items and ingredients. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, maintaining cash register integrity. Provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences to enhance their dining experience. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables and organizing supplies. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure all guests receive prompt service. Qualifications Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is a plus. Proficiency in using POS systems and cash handling procedures. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. A positive attitude with a willingness to help others and contribute to a team-oriented atmosphere. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
