Solé Miami is an independent boutique, one of a kind, newly-renovated Miami beachfront hotel. A day in the life… As a Beach Server, you will be responsible for serving food and beverages to our pool and beach guests in a timely, courteous, efficient and accurate manner. To be successful in the Beach Server position, you… Greet guests in a friendly and timely manner once the guest has been seated. Inform each guest of our QR code system for ordering. Accurately take guest(s) order and enter orders using the micros system, if the guest prefers over QR code system. Answer guest questions regarding food items, beverages, special promotions, etc. Make sure meals are complete and delivered to guests in a timely manner. Place all beverage orders through the bartenders. Make sure all final tabs are correct before presenting the check to the guest. Complete side work duties as assigned. Perform set up and breakdown of various stations (i.e., bar and service stations). Assist with orders to go, as needed. Prevent and resolve guest issues promptly. Requirements
Minimum of 2 years prior serving experience.
Must be able to walk/stand throughout the duration of the shift in the sand and be comfortable with working outdoors.
Excellent guest service skills.
Available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
