The Courtyard Miami Coconut Grove, located at 2649 South BayshoreDrive, Miami, FL 33133 is currently hiring a Bistro TeamMember. The Bistro at Courtyard is a chic, fast-casual concept restaurantoffering an eclectic menu including a variety of refreshing to-gooptions as well as full sit-down fare including cocktails, wine,beer, and Starbucks coffee. Our Bistro Team Members master a widevariety of food & beverage functions, from serving coffee and otherbeverages (including alcohol), to preparing ingredients forcooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. Thisposition processes all orders and collects payment from customers,and provides assistance in food & beverage areas including busing,cleaning, resetting tables, and delivering food to guests. Thisposition also performs general cleaning and maintenance of food andbeverage prep areas, counts the bank at end of shifts, and followsproperty control audit standards and cash handling procedures. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures;report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager;and complete safety training and certifications. Ensures uniformand personal appearance are clean and professional, maintainsconfidentiality of proprietary information, and protects companyassets. Welcomes and acknowledges all guests according to companystandards, anticipates and addresses guests? service needs, assistsindividuals with disabilities, and thanks guests with genuineappreciation. Speaks with others using clear and professionallanguage. Develops and maintains positive working relationshipswith others, and supports team to reach common goals. Ensuresadherence to quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry,push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25pounds without assistance and objects in excess of 50 pounds withassistance. Stands, sits, or walks for an extended time period.
