We have locations in Coral Gables, Davie, Downtown Doral, Brickell, Downtown Miami, Miami Beach, South Beach, and Hallandale, and seven new locations are opening this year.

JOB SUMMARY

The best “Baristas” are fast, friendly, and outgoing, have a good memory, and display composure. “Baristas” accurately take orders, make drinks, and serve them to customers. Should be able to ring them up on a register, collect payments, make change, and issue receipts need be. We are looking for an individual with customer service and on-the-job training experience. The best baristas work well in a team environment and are comfortable working long hours on their feet. As SP Hospitality Group tea members, we expect our employees to follow all company policies and procedures and maintain a positive work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparing and crafting a range of coffee beverages, such as espresso, cappuccino, latte, macchiato, Americano, and others Answering customers’ questions about menu choices Promoting and recommending menu options to customers Taking payment from customers Maintaining coffee inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting, and scheduling repairs Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service Addressing customer concerns and resolving issues with professionalism and tact

QUALIFICATIONS

1 to 2 years of experience as a coffee barista or similar environment Working knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, coffee types, and espresso machine operation Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Attention to detail to maintain quality and consistency in coffee preparation. Flexibility in working hours, as coffee shops often operate early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Positive attitude and a passion for coffee and hospitality.
