As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and efficiently. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and quality. Assist servers by preparing tables for service, including setting up utensils, glassware, and condiments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables after guests have finished their meals. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding order status and special requests. Handle food items according to safety guidelines, ensuring proper food handling practices are followed. Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, for order tracking and communication with the kitchen. Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
