As a Mesera, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding customer service in a fine dining environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting guests, ensuring their needs are met, and maintaining the overall quality of service. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality. Duties Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha POS system. Assist in food preparation and ensure timely delivery of orders to tables. Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance the dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Experience Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest relations. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Experience with food preparation is a plus, along with knowledge of kitchen operations.
