Job Summary Clears, cleans, and resets tables and booths. Maintains cleanliness of guest environment, plus cleans and stocks wares in pantry, according to company policies, procedures, programs, and performance standards. Job Duties /Tasks / Results/ Responsibilities Greet guests in a friendly and timely manner at the table Sort and stack clean/dirty glasses and silverware Set/reset tables according to Essensia restaurant standard Set up service stations and restock throughout the shift Perform cleaning and side work duties as assigned Service guests throughout guest’s dining experience Break down service stations and dining room after closing Provide a clean dining area bussing tables in an efficient, courteous and accurate manner Deposit dishes appropriately in the dish room or specified area. Pull dirty plates from tables while guests are still seated. Serve beverages promptly Stock bussing stations. Clean stations, including sweeping floor using the tools provided. Perform buffet set-up and refill if needed. Assist in Room Service if needed. Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks when necessary. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required Be courteous Show genuine care for all co-workers and guest(s) The ability to work well in a team environment Proficient in the English language. Second language is an asset. Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Ability to work in a high pressure environment. Ability to effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management. Ability to move throughout the dining room effectively. Ability to lift and carry approximately 30-40 pounds repeatedly. Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
