Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. is now searching for Room ServiceAttendant. Our Room Service Attendants provide food and beverageservice to guests in their staterooms, various cafes, restaurantsand other food and beverage venues. Responsibilities and essentialduties include interacting with guests or fellow shipboardemployees and/or being in the presence of guest contact and crewareas. The Room Service attendants follow our Gold Anchor Standardswhen greeting guests, observe guest security and privacyprocedures, and ensure efficient and seamless delivery of all mealsto guests in their staterooms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures efficient and seamless service delivery of all meals toguests in their staterooms.
• Learns and uses appropriate food and wine terminology andpronunciation, to enhance the guest?s dining experience. Becomesfamiliar with menu descriptions and wine lists in order to discussitems appropriately with guests.
• Obtains linen, silverware, glassware, and china to set stateroomservice trays.
• Arranges settings on stateroom service trays.
• Greets guests appropriately when delivering room service order,per Gold Anchor Standards. Observes all established security andguest privacy procedures when delivering to staterooms.
• Presents both food and beverage to guests; suggests menu courses,appropriate wines, and answers questions regarding menu and wineselections, per Gold Anchor Standards. Makes recommendations toentice guests while meeting management goals to reduce particularinventory stock.
• Relays order to galley as required and serves courses from galleyand beverages from various locations.
• Garnishes and decorates dishes as required prior to serving.
• Enters food and beverage orders in the point-of-sale system.
• Observes guests to anticipate their needs and responds to anyadditional requests.
• Take ownership of maintenance in Guest Corridors whenappropriate.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of their working area inaccordance with all USPH and company standards.
• Attends meetings, training activities, courses and all otherwork-related activities as required.
• Performs related duties as required.

Shipboard employees will berequired to perform any other job-related duties assigned by theirsupervisor or management.
