Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and efficient Busser to join our team at Nikki Beach Miami Beach. The Busser plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the dining area, supporting servers, and ensuring that guests have a smooth and enjoyable experience. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests finish dining, ensuring all dishes, glassware, and silverware are removed and the area is reset for the next guests.
- Assist servers with food and beverage delivery, ensuring efficient and timely service.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including floors, tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Refill water glasses and assist with guest requests in a prompt and friendly manner.
- Set up and break down tables and seating areas, ensuring everything is ready for the next guest.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and tools are maintained and properly stored.
- Maintain a clean and organized back-of-house area, including dishwashing stations.
- Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Support the team in any other tasks required to maintain a high level of service and cleanliness.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a busser or other position in a fast-paced hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other staff.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic, with a focus on providing excellent service.
- Must be able to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Bilingual is a plus.
