Server/Waiter Sushi Sake Miami Gardens 1608 NE Miami Gardens Drive, Miami, FL 33179 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied. Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor is essential to the success of our restaurant. Duties

• Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system.
• Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Provide information about menu items, daily specials, and promotions to enhance the dining experience.
• Upsell additional items to maximize sales opportunities.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and care.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and dining room throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service.
• Adhere to food handling and safety regulations at all times. Skills
• Proficiency in Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with OpenTable for managing reservations is a plus.
• Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety standards are met.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
• Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is advantageous.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is beneficial but not required.
