As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. Your ability to manage time effectively, upsell menu items, and maintain cleanliness will contribute significantly to the overall success of our establishment. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Provide recommendations on food and beverage pairings to enhance the dining experience through effective upselling techniques. Ensure that all food is prepared according to safety and sanitation standards, adhering to food handling guidelines. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining attention to detail. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, responding promptly to any requests or concerns. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables, chairs, and utensils between guests. Assist with food preparation as needed during busy periods or when required by kitchen staff. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing is a plus. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices is beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
