Summary:

The Server will serve alcoholic beverages, food, provide excellent customer service, and keep bills and tabs organized. They need to be personable, attentive, and able to communicate effectively in order to provide the best service for their customers based on company standards.

Responsibilities:

Take drink and food orders from customers.
Deliver drinks and food to customers promptly.
Check guests’ identification to confirm they are of legal drinking age.
Collect payments, and balances receipts.
Provide responsible service of alcohol, knowing when to stop serving a guest, and handling guest complaints. Manage multiple tables at once, delivering food to one table and drinks to another.
Knowledge of beverage products, menus, and promotions.
Maintain compliance with applicable health code, dress code, and other serving standards.
Coordinate with bar staff to ensure the availability of all beverages.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the cocktail bar and other work areas.
Clean, clear tables, and return plates and utensils to the kitchen area.
Prepare stock items such as straws, and napkins during opening and closing shifts.
Comply with the company’s drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy.
All other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications:

Must be 18+ years old. Prior experience in a fast-paced food-service environment required. Knowledge of cocktail recipes, types of alcohol, and common alternatives for customers with allergies or special requests. Motivated, self-starting personality.
Excellent multitasking, customer service, and organizational skills.
Experience with POS and credit card systems.
Cash handling skills. Ability to lift- up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently.
Must be able to legally work in the USA. Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Discover Life at
