Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, your responsibilities include taking orders, serving food, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Your expertise in POS systems, particularly Toast, along with your culinary experience, will enable you to efficiently manage orders and collaborate with the kitchen staff. By leveraging your skills in time management and guest services, you will help create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and customer loyalty. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly while providing excellent customer service. Take and process food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring accuracy. Serve food and drinks efficiently, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Assist in food preparation and maintain cleanliness of dining areas. Handle cash and process payments accurately, providing a seamless guest experience. Qualifications Proficient in POS systems, including Toast Strong customer service and food handling skills Previous experience in food service and the restaurant industry Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to manage time effectively and collaborate with team members Experience in fine dining and guest services is a plus Basic math skills for cash register operations and order processing
