Server (Part-time/On Call) Four Points by Sheraton Orlando Convention Center 6435 Westwood Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32821

Duties:

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
• Enter orders into the POS system (Point of Sale)
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
• Ensure guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
• Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
• Answer questions about the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
• Prepare and present guest checks, process payments, and handle cash transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and dining room

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a server, bartender or in a similar role required.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables simultaneously
• Strong math skills for accurate order taking and bill calculation
• Proficiency in using POS systems (e.g., Micros Simphony POS) is a plus
• Knowledge of culinary terms, ingredients, and menu items is beneficial
• Ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
