The Server Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the front-of-house staff, ensuring that guests have an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Responsibilities Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately. Help maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Support the kitchen staff by ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and available during service. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Adhere to food safety standards and practices to maintain a clean and safe dining environment. Operate the Aloha POS system for processing orders as needed. Assist with any additional tasks as directed by management to enhance guest experiences. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus. Culinary skills or interest in the culinary field is advantageous.
