Job Description:

We are seeking a Banquet Server to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Palm Beach team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. The Banquet Server will be responsible for setting up assigned tables, retrieving and serving alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications and group requirements, courteously and efficiently. The Server will also take beverage orders and collect payments when specified, while maintaining cleanliness and condition of the work areas and equipment. This position is a FLEX (AM / PM) position, and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights. We have an ON-CALL position available.

Essential Qualifications:

Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages. Minimum of 2-year(s) experience as a Restaurant or Banquet Food Server. Food handling and Alcohol Care certificate. Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding. Ability to provide legible communication. Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.

Essential Skills:

Ability to understand guests’ service needs. Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service to guests within any given period of time. Ability to focus attention on details. Ability to suggestively sell alcoholic beverages and wines. Ability to access and input information into Micros system.
