Breakfast Server Lox & Bagel 21065 Powerline Road, Boca Raton, FL 33433 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality food and beverage service in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to engage with guests, anticipate their needs, and ensure their satisfaction will be key to your success in this role. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and providing information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using a POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Sanitate tables and dining areas regularly to uphold cleanliness and safety standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines. Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with basic math skills. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Skills Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. Knowledge of culinary practices, including food preparation techniques and food safety regulations. Proficient in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing. Excellent sales skills to promote menu items effectively and enhance the dining experience. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
