As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring that our guests feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout their visit. This position requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and service. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy in orders. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests. Assist with banquet or catering events as needed, providing excellent service to large groups. It is important to always look clean, in proper uniform with nametag, alert and while taking orders not to sit in a chair or leaning up against the table. The hours of operation are Monday through Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The wait station must always be kept clean. All tables are to be cleaned and set up as they are used, and at the end of the day, the dining area is to be kept clean and orderly at all times. Should be familiar with the ingredients, descriptions of items, and daily specials on the menu. If working on the Beach, you will be required to organize beach setups for owners and continue to provide service to those homeowners. When taking orders if you’re not sure of the order given ask for details. Don’t hesitate to ask questions. Should be knowledgeable with equipment for billing the residents and guests. Always be pleasant and courteous. Arguing and screaming at fellow employees or owners will not be tolerated. Should know the proper procedures for serving and checking to make sure they have everything they need and refills on all drinks (water, soft drinks, and coffee/tea). Any complaints concerning food should be handled on the spot with a replacement of the order. Any complaints about the service should be brought immediately to your supervisor, or his assistant, and in their absence to the General Manager. When needed, particularly during the off season, you may be requested to fill in and help in the kitchen with food prep, washing dishes, ordering, and stocking items, etc. Teamwork is the key to a successful operation. There are times you will be requested to work special functions such as Sunday Grill and Chill, Season Opener, Mid-Season and Season Closing Resident parties, Buffets, Annual Meeting, etc. and assist in setting up for all buffets and possible private functions. Experience Previous experience in the hospitality or food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus. Experience in bartending or banquet service is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
