JOB SUMMARY
The server will have a passion for hospitality and prioritize professionalism as they build rapport with club members and peers. They will have to be engaging but at the same time discreet. They must be charismatic, dynamic, and always ready to respond to needs. A positive and upbeat attitude is a must. Servers are responsible for providing excellent member-oriented service. Servers will have the ability to answer the member’s questions regarding all things food and beverage including ingredients, menu descriptions, specials, wine list, and the beverage program.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Greet members cordially, present accurate daily specials, beverages, wine, and the variety of menu options. Able to explain and answer member/guest questions on food and beverage offerings Performs opening and closing procedures including but not limited to the setup and break down of stations, sidework, clearing tables and resetting tables Take orders and deliver them to the table deftly and accurately Be primary point of contact with members for any requests Handling multiple tables, multitasking, and attending member’s needs in a timely manner Communicate effectively and courteously with members, coworkers Ensures members have proper silverware, napkin, share plates when delivering food Manage the tables and work environment with compliance cleanliness standards Notify direct supervisor when applicable to assist in monitoring and maintaining the inventory of supplies Assist to resolve member/guest complaints, handling member/guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible Responds to member/guest’s requests in an accurate and timely manner, aiming to create a positive outcome and will call on a manager for assistance Participate in teamwork and assist other departments when needed Check the quality of the final servings and resolve any issues Deliver members checks accordingly and collect payment when appropriate Work diligently to achieve outstanding service quality Monitoring children when they are permitted on the property, ensuring their safety, and addressing any specific requests or needs they may have during their time on site. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager

Able to lift and carry containers and equipment weighing 50 lbs. Able to reach various levels ranging from overhead to the floor Able to work in environments with extreme temperatures Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages. Certification and/or previous training in liquor, wine, and food service. Food handling certificate. Certification in C.P.R. is recommended.
