The House is a 150-seat, culinary-driven, locally inspired restaurant showcasing lush views of the newly renovated public golf course. The atmosphere boasts a clean, modern design with a menu featuring fresh coastal American cuisine. It will be paired with refreshing cocktails, an approachable wine list, and a selection of local beers from throughout Florida. Job Functions Greeting seated guests in a timely manner and following The House’s sequence of service delivery standards Guide guests through the entire dining process using menu knowledge and upselling strategies, being sure to answer new and returning guest questions. Taking and delivering orders using Toast Handheld POS device Maintaining table cleanliness and pre-bussing tables for quick and efficient turnover Performing proper wine service tableside for guests buying bottles Staying up to date with food knowledge and potential allergy hazards Accurately issuing bills and completing cash and credit card transactions via Toast Following all running side work and closing side work protocols assigned during the shift Assisting team members with resetting the restaurant to maintain our ideal atmosphere Job Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience serving in a high-volume hospitality establishment preferred Confident speaking skills and menu pairing aptitudes Highly educated in food and beverage with an emphasis on upselling Open availability including nights, weekends and holidays Thrives working as part of a high-performing team Able to stand & work on their feet for long periods of time Able to safely lift 25 lbs. High-level organizational and time management skills
