Server/Waiter Jamaica House Grill 2557 South State Road 7, Wellington, FL 33414 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong understanding of the food industry, particularly in a nightclub or restaurant setting. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive service and fostering positive guest relations. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or similar systems. Provide detailed information about menu items, including specials and culinary offerings. Deliver orders to guests in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist with any guest inquiries or concerns, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely food preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each meal service. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, especially in roles related to customer service within restaurants or nightclubs. Strong knowledge of guest relations and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is an advantage but not mandatory as training will be provided. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A team player who is willing to help colleagues in various capacities within the kitchen or dining area as needed.
