Duties Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system, ensuring all details are captured correctly. Provide recommendations on menu items, including specials and culinary offerings, to enhance the guest experience. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper sanitation standards throughout the dining area. Process payments using cash register systems, ensuring accuracy in transactions. Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, fostering positive guest relations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain communication regarding any special requests or dietary restrictions. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils between guests. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential. Familiarity with cash register operations and point-of-sale (POS) systems, particularly Aloha POS, is advantageous. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest services and guest relations.
