The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and management. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed. Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or OpenTable systems. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner while ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and maintain communication regarding special requests or dietary restrictions. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils between guests. Assist in training new servers on restaurant policies, procedures, and customer service standards. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or as a Server is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
