Greets all guests in a professional and courteous manner. Provides a high level of service when assisting customers in ordering and delivering food orders according to established protocols. Coordinates and communicates any special dietary requirement of guests to the kitchen. Maintains a clean and sanitary work station. Develops and maintain friendly relationship with regular patrons of the restaurant. Coordinates with kitchen staff and customers and ensure timely delivery of all services. Works to meet revenue goals by establishing and maintaining a complete course of order to customers including salad, drinks and main course. Must be efficient in cash handling procedures, and maintain a working knowledge of the POS system and its functions including but not limited to credit card and gift card transactions. Makes sure that all daily revenue and server tip reports are reconciled and given to accounting at the end of every day. Ensures that checklists, requisitions and proper opening and closing functions are being completed each shift. All other duties as assigned. Required Skills & Abilities Superior customer service skills; previous serving experience preferred ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain Must be able to lift fifty pounds on a regular basis and able to withstand long periods of time on your feet Ability to function well at a high pace, sometimes high-stress environment Comfortable effectively communicating with all levels of guests and staff Nights and weekend work required Living Our Core Values Our Core Values are a way of life, not just empty promises.
