Sanford, FL 32771 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and enjoyably. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff. Duties Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests. Help set up and break down dining areas for events or catering services. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak service times. Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurants or catering, is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and a willingness to help others, contributing to a supportive team atmosphere. Familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus, as well as an understanding of food service standards. Must be able to stand for long periods and carry trays of food.
