Server/Host miyaji sushi&hibachi 4265 W Lake Mary Boulevard, Lake Mary, FL 32746 Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring excellent service throughout their dining experience. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and other servers to provide top-notch food and beverage service in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system. Assist in food preparation and ensure proper food handling practices are followed. Deliver food and beverages to tables efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service. Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Support sales initiatives by upselling menu items when appropriate. Skills Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a nightclub setting. Knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling, and preparation techniques. Proficiency with POS systems for order entry and payment processing. Strong basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
