Recent experience required. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fine dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering outstanding service and ensuring that every dining occasion is memorable. Your ability to engage with guests, understand their needs, and provide knowledgeable recommendations will be key to your success in this role. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings, including daily specials. Take orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Process payments accurately while adhering to restaurant policies. Skills Strong math skills for accurate order taking and payment processing. Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on guest relations to create a welcoming atmosphere. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is preferred. Experience in fine dining settings is a plus, showcasing an understanding of upscale service standards. Knowledge of food preparation processes to effectively communicate menu items to guests. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment, particularly with kitchen staff. Proficiency in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing. Strong upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction while increasing revenue for the restaurant.
